A section of the Chelsea fans have urged the club to look into the prospect of re-signing of their former graduates once their transfer ban reaches a conclusion.
Nathan Ake, presently at Bournemouth, has transformed into a consistent performer over the past few years and against Manchester United, he came up with one of his best displays of the campaign.
Dealing with the threat from Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial, Ake came with flying colours to register a 1-0 triumph and he made as many as 12 recoveries and five clearances.
Judging by that display, a number of Chelsea FC supporters believe the club should exercise the prospect of re-signing the Netherlands international from the Cherries.
The Dutchman made the move to the South Coast outfit for around £20m two years ago but the Blues can re-sign him for £40m as part of the buy-back clause inserted into his contract.
Chelsea are currently banned from signing players until July 1 but they are hopeful of winning their appeal made to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, thereby reducing their embargo by six months.
