Strongest Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Brentford – Premier League

Arsenal begin the new Premier League season on Friday night with a trip to Brentford.

The Gunners will be favourites for the London derby, but the Bees can’t be underestimated.

They are back in the top tier after seven decades, and will be motivated with fans on their side.

The Gunners have impressed on the first matchday in recent years.

They have been victorious in three of the last four encounters.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Line-up:

The backline could be identical to the Tottenham Hotspur friendly defeat.

A solitary change could be in the right-back spot with Calum Chambers replacing Hector Bellerin.

Summer signing Ben White looks set to make his debut at the heart of the backline.

Thomas Partey has been ruled out for the rest of the month with an ankle problem.

Albert Sambi Lokonga should make his competitive debut alongside Granit Xhaka in midfield.

Mikel Arteta went with the same attacking combination against Chelsea and Spurs.

That probably gives a hint that the quartet are likely to feature against the Bees.

Bukayo Saka’s only pre-season outing came after the hour mark against Spurs.

The England international will need more minutes to reach match sharpness, and may start on the bench.

Nicolas Pepe, Emile Smith Rowe, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette should form the attack.

  1. Add Lautaro Martinez and Maddison and Arsenal could win the Prem. Need to ship Auba and Willian out, both old and useless now. Business has been bad so far, priorities backwards. Defense was not the problem last year, scoring goals was. That has not been addressed. This incompetence is not surprising to Arsenal fans though, last season we sold the best keeper in the league and brought Runarsson in. The idea, apparently is to sell our very top players and replace them with extremely bad ones.
