Kante and Abraham start, Strongest Predicted Chelsea FC lineup (4-3-3) vs Arsenal

Chelsea FC will be looking to secure a second successive Premier League win when they face arch-rivals Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium today.

The Blues recently succumbed to back-to-back losses, but recovered with a 3-0 triumph over West Ham United on their home patch.

Next up, they are scheduled to face the Gunners, who are languishing in the 15th spot after 14 games with only 14 points on the board.

Frank Lampard’s side could break into the top four by the end of the matchday, should they get the better of their London counterparts.

Formation: 4-3-3

Predicted Lineup:

Edouard Mendy has been almost ever-present in goal since his arrival from Rennes. He is expected to keep his position ahead of Kepa Arrizabalaga, who is now second choice.

In the defence, there could be an enforced change after Ben Chilwell rolled his ankle in the recent derby against the Hammers. Emerson is likely to replace him at left-back.

Elsewhere, Reece James appears set to miss out on the clash as well with a knee problem. Cesar Azpilicueta should feature at right-back with Kurt Zouma and Thiago Silva making up the central defence.

In the centre of the park, N’Golo Kante could take up the holding midfield role. Alongside, Mason Mount is a definite starter and we are fancying Jorginho to keep his place with his strong distribution skills.

Further forward, no changes are likely despite the fact that Timo Werner has largely misfired in front of goal. The German should start on the right wing with Christian Pulisic on the opposite flank.

There is the temptation to play Olivier Giroud upfront, but Tammy Abraham should keep his place after his brace on Monday. He scored the winner in the previous meeting at the Emirates last year.

Predicted Chelsea FC lineup: Mendy; Azpilicueta, Zouma, Silva, Emerson; Kante, Jorginho, Mount; Werner, Abraham, Pulisic
