Some Chelsea fans have hailed Jorginho’s world class mentality after the Italian came up with another standout display from the centre of the park.
The midfielder has grown into a consistent performer under Frank Lampard and against Ajax, he once again impressed alongside Mateo Kovacic.
Jorginho was handed with two penalties to convert in the 4-4 Champions League thriller and he was able to score with both of his attempts amid the pressure on his shoulders.
Following the game, a few of the club’s faithful have praised the performance from the 27-year-old and some believe he has the credential to become a future captain.

Jorginho has been ever-present in the Blues’ midfield this term and he has barely earned a rest with the importance of every game including the recent League Cup fourth round tie against Manchester United.
However, he will earn a well-earned break at the weekend, considering he has received fifth yellow card of the Premier League campaign which triggers a one-match ban.
In his place, N’Golo Kante appears primed to make his return to the starting lineup after recovering from an adductor injury picked up on international duty with France last month.
