Some Chelsea fans have praised the showing of Tammy Abraham during the club’s 2-1 Premier League win over Watford away from home on Saturday.
Abraham had gone into the game with nine goals and one assist on the board and he managed to improve the tally with a sublime all round performance.
The Blues graduate scored the opening goal after five minutes following a stupendous pass from Jorginho from near the halfway line. He was a constant threat thereafter and contributed the assist for Christian Pulisic’s strike before the hour mark.
As a result, he was adjudged as the Premier League’s man of the match and some of the Blues supporters have hailed his efforts, considering he managed to make his contribution with just 12 passes during the course of the game.
Abraham has now reached double figures in terms of the goal tally with 10 and he will be hoping to contribute for the Blues when Ajax visit Stamford Bridge for the midweek Champions League clash.
The Blues are currently top of their group on the head-to-head statistic over Ajax and a victory on Tuesday night would surely put them on the driver’s seat to reach the round of 16 stage of the elite competition.
