Chelsea FC manager Frank Lampard has hailed the impact from Christian Pulisic following the club’s 2-0 Premier League win over Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.
The USA international struggled for regular gametime during the early weeks of the season and he was quite often left out on the substitutes’ bench.
However, his fortunes have changed following the previous international break and in the past three games, he has bagged five goals with one of those coming against Brighton.
Lampard has previously hailed Pulisic for his selfishness and desire to make runs into the box and he was pleased with another close-range goal from the former Borussia Dortmund man.
“I always believe he had huge talent and that he would be a great player for us. He has been first class for us. Scoring in the six yard box is a huge thing for a young player,” he was quoted as saying by Bleacher Report.
Aside from his goals, Pulisic has also provided five assists for the Blues and he has certainly cemented his starting spot ahead of Callum Hudson-Odoi, who has not done much wrong to drop to the bench.
