Frank Lampard confirms Triple Injury Boost for Chelsea FC ahead of Wolves clash

Chelsea FC manager Frank Lampard has confirmed that the trio of Pedro, N’Golo Kante and Antonio Rudiger should be available for the forthcoming league clash at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Speaking to Chelsea TV, Lampard said that Kante and Pedro should recovery from their respective injuries to make the west Midlands trip and the same goes for Antonio Rudiger, who has been featuring for the development squad in the bid to attain complete fitness.

“Rudiger now is fit after the international break so he gives me another choice. I’m hoping N’Golo will be back for Wolves. The medical team have said to me that with no setbacks he should be, and that will be a big boost. And Pedro should be training by the middle of this week, so he should be fine for Wolves too,” he told

Kante has missed the past two weeks of action with an ankle sprain. On the other hand, Pedro picked up the hamstring problem in the warm-up leading up to the 3-2 win at Norwich City last month.

Rudiger, however, has been training with the team for more than three weeks following a lengthy knee injury, but Lampard has taken the cautious approach to delay his first-team comeback until after the international break.
