Personal terms and fee agreed, £42.5m star set to undergo medical with Manchester United

Manchester United are reportedly on the cusp of their second summer signing with defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka scheduled to undergo a medical with the club next week.

The right-sided defender has been hotly linked with the club in the past few weeks and it appears that a move is close to completion with personal terms and transfer fees sorted.

According to The Mail, the Eagles graduate is set to undergo a series of medical tests with the Mancunian giants shortly after his return from the European Under-21 Championship.

The same outlet claims that United will part with an initial £42.5m fee while the remaining sum of the £55m transfer package would be settled in the form of performance-based add-ons.

United have made the solitary signing since the beginning of the summer transfer window with Daniel James joining them from Championship side Swansea City.

Aside from Wan-Bissaka, United have been heavily touted to land the signature of Bruno Fernandes from Sporting but so far, they have failed to meet the asking price presented by the Portuguese outfit.
