Maurizio Sarri reveals the one Chelsea star who will be ‘100 percent’ in two weeks

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has said that Gonzalo Higuain is not in the best physical shape at the moment, although he should manage to do so in the next couple of weeks.

The Argentine has enjoyed a decent return since making his loan move from Juventus in January, and he recently scored his third league goal against Fulham on the road.

Speaking after that game, Sarri was pleased with the showing of the Argentina international despite the marksman missing a clear-cut chance on goal when the Blues were leading 2-1.

He added that the experienced striker has looked short in terms of the fitness but he is optimistic over an improvement on the same in two weeks’ time.

He said: “Higuain played a very good match. I think at the moment he is not at his top. He is improving. I hope in a couple weeks he will be able to arrive to his top.”

Higuain could make his Europa League debut on Thursday night when Chelsea host Dynamo Kiev for the first leg of the round of 16 stage. The Blues are currently the favourites to lift the European title this term.
