Strongest Predicted Liverpool lineup (4-2-3-1) to face Brighton & Hove Albion, Salah and Shaqiri start

Liverpool will be aiming to bounce back from successive defeats across all competitions when they face Brighton & Hove Albion on the road this weekend. The Merseyside giants have been nearly flawless with their Premier League campaign to date and they are currently holding a four-point advantage over Manchester City in the pursuit of the title.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Liverpool Lineup:

Alisson Becker was offered a rare breather during the recent FA Cup third round defeat at the hands of Wolves but he should without question return between the sticks for the Seagulls clash.

In the defence, the Reds have been boosted by the fitness of Virgil van Dijk and the Dutchman could be partnered by Fabinho at centre-back, given Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez are all on the sidelines.

However, there are no such issues in the full-back positions and Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson should retain their spots on the right and left side of the backline after not featuring at the Molineux.

In the midfield, skipper Jordan Henderson remains doubtful with the knock picked up at Manchester City and this may witness Naby Keita feature from the off alongside the ever-consistent Georginio Wijnaldum.

Further forward, Mohamed Salah could be tasked to lead the line and behind him we are expecting Roberto Firmino to feature in the number 10 role with Sadio Mane and Xherdan Shaqiri flanking him either side.
