4-3-3: Strongest Predicted Chelsea lineup versus Fulham, Giroud and Barkley start

Chelsea have the opportunity to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they tackle Fulham in their homeground this afternoon. The Blues are presently fourth in the league standings with just a one-point advantage over fifth-placed Arsenal and anything less than a victory may put them under threat of dropping down from the Champions League positions.

Formation: 4-3-3

Predicted Lineup:

Kepa Arrizabalaga had probably his worst game of the campaign against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend but this has not reduced his importance between the sticks. He should definitely start in goal for the west London derby. Likewise the defence should remain the same with Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz, Antonio Rudiger and Marcos Alonso featuring in a four-man backline.

Onto the midfield, Jorginho and N’Golo Kante have remained ever-present for the league duties since the campaign started and the duo should feature once more from the off. However, the third midfield slot could witness a change with Ross Barkley potentially featuring ahead of Mateo Kovacic, who has struggled to impress in recent starts for the team.

Further forward, Eden Hazard should return to the left side of the attack after returning from a knee knock picked up during the derby and he could be accompanied by regular partner Willian on the opposite end. Upfront, Olivier Giroud should warrant a starting role ahead of Alvaro Morata after bagging three goals from the previous two games including a late consolation in the derby defeat to Spurs last weekend.
