Eden Hazard drops huge update regarding his Chelsea future

Belgian attacker Eden Hazard has dropped a positive update on his Chelsea future ahead of their Premier League clash against Manchester United tomorrow. The 27-year-old has regularly been associated with a move to Real Madrid over the past 18 months but so far, a prospective deal has not come to fruition.

Speaking to Sky Sports News, Hazard highlighted that he is clearly content with his stay with the Blues and he would have no issues, if a future move to Real Madrid does not materialise. He added to suggest that he would fancy prolonging his contract with the west London giants and admitted that he could see out the remainder of his career with the Blues.

Hazard has regularly spoken about the prospect of sealing a dream switch to the Bernabeu but he has also repeatedly iterated that he would not push through a future exit unlike compatriot Thibaut Courtois. At present, the attacker has just 20 months left on his current contract but the Blues are said to be making progress to extend his stay for the long-term.

Hazard, who has already contributed eight goals and three assists for the Blues this term, has been offered a 50 per cent rise on his current £200,000-a-week wages and reports indicate that he could soon pen the contract to become one of the top-five highest paid players in the Premier League.
