Belgium international Thibaut Courtois has been deemed doubtful for the international friendly against Saudi Arabia on Tuesday night as he continues to recover from a hamstring problem.
The 26-year-old missed the FA Cup quarter-final tie against Leicester City owing to a similar issue, but Belgium boss Roberto Martinez still called him up for Belgium’s sole friendly against Saudi Arabia.
According to Football.London, the shot-stopper has yet to fully recover from the muscular injury, and this makes him a potential doubt for the Tottenham Hotspur game next weekend.
Courtois is apparently training on an individual training regime, similarly to Manchester United’s Marouane Fellaini, and it will be interesting to see whether he can return in a better shape for the Blues.

Chelsea are presently five points behind Tottenham Hotspur in the quest for the final Champions League spot, and they potentially face a must-win game against Spurs, if they are to salvage their chances of a top-four finish.
The Blues also have a game against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge in the second last week of the Premier League season, and a victory over Spurs remains essential to prolonging their top-four pursuit until then.
