Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been spotted arriving at Arsenal’s training ground ahead of his proposed club-record transfer. The Borussia Dortmund has been offered permission to sort out the necessary formalities with the Gunners, and the move could be announced by the end of the day.

The 28-year-old is set to become the Gunners’ third signing of the winter transfer window, and he is presently inside the training ground where he is due to undergo a series of medical tests before finalising a long-term deal which would potentially make him the highest earner ahead of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who arrived earlier in the month.
Aubameyang’s jersey number has also been speculated in social media with a couple of fans already printing the striker’s name on the famous number 14 jersey. Aubameyang is unlikely to feature for the Gunners versus Swansea City tonight, but there is a genuine chance that he may make his debut at the Emirates this weekend.
Everton are due to make the trip to north London on Saturday evening, and the move would coincide with the first time Theo Walcott will return to the Emirates after his £20m switch to the Merseyside outfit.
