European champions Real Madrid are reportedly keen on the services of Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah, Egyptian national team coach Hector Cuper has claimed.
The former Roma man has been in scintillating form for the Reds this campaign, and he is currently the top goal-getter with 16 strikes across all competitions.
Salah helped Egypt reach their first World Cup finals since 1990 earlier in October, and his manager has now come out to reveal that Los Blancos are keeping tabs on his services.
“I have received information revealing Madrid’s interest in Salah, but there is no rush to things,” He is quoted as saying on Egyptian TV channel ON Sport h/t The Star:
Despite the speculation, Liverpool will be unperturbed by the situation as the attacker still has more than four years on his existing deal which he inked on his arrival from Stadio Olimpico earlier in the summer.
Salah had a rare goalless match against Brighton & Hove Albion, but he still provided an assist in the 5-1 win at the Falmer Stadium. The Reds are now up to fourth in the Premier League standings, 14 points adrift of table-toppers Manchester City.
