Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger may have sounded confident about Alexis Sanchez returning to training and being part of the team going forward, but it appears that the Arsenal players are left with no doubt that Sanchez wants an exit from the Emirates Stadium this summer. The 28-year-old has just returned to training and has been working hard in order to improve his fitness levels before the start of the season. Arsenal take on Chelsea in the FA Community Shield this weekend.
The Gunners seem to be heading towards an inevitable conclusion, as players are reportedly convinced that the star wants to leave the club. Sanchez only has 12 months left on his contract and the possibility of the Chilean extending his deal with Arsenal look remote. He has already stated his desire to play Champions League football regularly, despite Arsenal missing out on this competition for the first time in more than two decades.
Daily Mail reports that Sanchez has made up his mind about a move to Manchester City, despite interest from Paris St Germain. His intention is to remain in the Premier League. If he does make the move to the Etihad Stadium, Sanchez would become the latest Arsenal player to do so after the likes of Bacary Sagna, Gael Clichy, and Samir Nasri.
