£60m Bundesliga striker makes surprise Premier League decision

Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will reportedly snub interest from the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United for an Arsenal move, only if he opts for a Premier League challenge.

The 27-year-old is currently mulling over his options for next season after making his mind up to leave Bvb in the summer transfer window. Aubameyang bagged his career-best tally of 40 goals last term, but he is nevertheless eyeing a bigger club outside of the Bundesliga.

The Chinese Super League has been courting an interest in the Gabon international with staggering wages of £672,000 a week on offer, but the marksman is not quite ready to leave Europe yet.

As a result, the Premier League remains a probable destination for Aubameyang with Arsenal being his sole preference in the English top flight, SportBILD claims.

Arsene Wenger’s side finished a lowly fifth last season to miss out on Champions League football, and this could still come to haunt them if the player weighs up other options.

A move to Paris Saint-Germain has already been ruled out for the summer, and this probably leaves Aubameyang with the choice between Premier League or Serie A with La Liga giants Real Madrid, not in the hunt for his services.
