Premier League giants Arsenal face a tough task of convincing Alexis Sanchez to stay following their 5-1 thumping at the hands of Bayern Munich in midweek.
The Chile international netted his 20th goal of the campaign against the German holders, who were simply in top form in the Champions League last 16, first-leg tie.
According to The Sun, the South American footballer threw tantrums at his fellow teammates after a humiliating defeat at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.
It is also revealed that Alexis was not the only player with the negative frame of mind as several other players blamed each other for the gruelling loss.
Alexis has been in talks over a contract extension (current deal expires in June 2018) since the start of the campaign, and it now appears that he could end his association at the Emirates in the summer following what was a discouraging result in Munich.
The Chilean is currently on a short-term break alongside his friend in Italy, and there is the possibility that he could meet up with Juventus, who had previously approached for his services last summer.
Meanwhile, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is also expected to assess his future at the end of the season, and he could follow Alexis through the exit door in the summer.
Arsenal will have their final chance of salvaging their season when they visit fifth-tier Sutton United in an all-important FA Cup tie on Monday night.
