Manchester United are apparently close to offloading the services of midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin this month. The France international is expected to have a medical with Everton today ahead of his proposed switch this month.
Schneiderlin, 27, has been deserted of Premier League football this season with manager Jose Mourinho offering him just 11 minutes of action.
According to The Manchester Evening News, the former Southampton man is expected to undergo multiple medical tests at the Toffees’ Finch Far training ground today before sealing his supposed move to Merseyside.
The Red Devils have previously rejected bids of £18m and £19m from West Bromwich Albion and Everton respectively, and the Toffees may have yet to negotiate a sum close to United’s £24m valuation.
Schneiderlin held a good relationship with Toffees boss Ronald Koeman during their time at St.Mary’s (2014-15), and this has played some part in his desire to join the club in the transfer window.
