Chilean ace Alexis Sanchez could be heading for a summer exit from the Emirates, should Manchester United pursue the services of Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann.
Arsenal are currently in a tight fix over the contract situation of Alexis, who is reluctant to extend his stay beyond June 2018 unless his weekly demands (£200,000)are met.
According to The Express, the Red Devils are planning to trigger the £89m release clause of Antoine Griezmann in the summer, and this could in hand tempt Alexis to move to Vicente Calderon.
Diego Simeone’s side are said to keeping a close eye on the Gunners top-scorer, and a fee of around £60m could be sufficient to lure the North London outfit into a sale.
Alexis has shown glimpses of his frustration in recent weeks, and the lack of league success this season may well end his patience with his current employers.
The 27-year-old has amassed 15 goals and 10 assists for Arsenal in all competitions this season.
