Chile international Alexis Sanchez has been urged to snub a fresh contract at the Emirates in order to pursue his career with Paris Saint-Germain next season.
The 27-year-old was evidently distraught after the Gunners’ 3-3 comeback at Bournemouth in midweek after he saw a bunch of his teammates celebrate the result.
According to The Mirror, Les Parisiens are understood to held contact with the player’s representatives as they seek to lure the attacker to Parc des Princes in the summer.
The Gunners are yet to reach a conclusion over Alexis’ £200,000-a-week wage demands, and the negotiations could stretch until the end of the campaign.
Paris Saint-Germain are hoping to pounce on the Gunners top-scorer in the summer with a £60m bid likely to be tabled for his signature.
Alexis has already contributed 25 goals/assists for Arsenal this season, and he remains crucial to the club’s chances of ending their Premier League drought.
