Tottenham Hotspur look to be close to finalizing an agreement to sign AZ Alkmaar striker Vincent Janssen this summer. The 21-year-old was in fine form for the Eredivisie side last season, and this earned him his debut cap with the Netherlands national side.
Janssen has caught the radar of several English clubs over the past month, but according to The Mirror, it is Spurs, who look to be leading the chase to secure his services. The player has already negotiated personal terms with the Spurs’ hierarchy and there remains a £12m fee to be settled ahead of his summer move to White Hart Lane.
The striker will look to follow on the footsteps of former Dutch great ‘Ruud van Nisterooy’ and make a mark in undoubtedly the world’s most competitive football league.
